We take great pride in the scientific excellence of our invited lecturers, panels, side events and authors of papers included in sessions at the SDEWES Conference, but there is another program that truly makes this Conference complete, and this is our Social programme.
From 27 - 31 May 2025, you will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the company of top experts in the field of sustainable development from all around the world and, through our social programme, exchange ideas in a more informal way, while enjoying the beautiful places of Oujda and Saidia.
Welcome reception
27 May 2025 (Tuesday), 18:30 – 20:30h
Join us for a welcome drink when we will formally start the Conference. The reception will be held at 18:30 h at the conference venue, Radisson Blu Resort Saidia Beach Hotel by the pool, located at the westernmost wing of the hotel.
Conference tour and dinner
29 May 2025 (Thursday), 14:30 – 22:00 plus transfer back

Join us for the wonderful exploration of the city of Oujda, as per the following itinerary:
Starting time and point at 14.30h, in front of the conference venue, Radisson Blu Resort Saidia Beach Hotel
14:30 Departing from the conference venue by bus
16:00 Arrival to Oujda, getting off the bus and starting a guided city tour on foot.
19:00 Visit of a traditional Morrocan Fair
20:00 Traditional Moroccan dinner at Rijad Dar Sebti, historical residence and cultural site in Oujda
22:00 Transfer back to conference venue, Radisson Blu Resort Saidia Beach Hotel
